In exactly a week, I will be reporting to the MTC in Provo. I am somewhat nervous and anxious, but at the same time I am also beyond excited. It will be a wonderful experience and I am already seeing the blessings from the willingness to serve the Lord. It is really interesting to see how Satan tries to test our faith when we are doing good. This past Friday I went to the temple and I swear that Satan tried absolutely everything to stop me from going. He constantly kept throwing obstacles in my way and almost everything went wrong, but I made it any how. It was incredible and I know without a doubt that I was suppose to be there. I enjoyed my time there with close friends that came to support me and that includes the Holy Ghost.
Today it really set in that I am leaving; we bought my luggage. Now I just need to focus on preparing my Farewell Talk and packing everything. It is a lot to take it all in, but I know that this is part of the plan that Heavenly Father has for me. I have learned that He is always there if you need Him and He will always love you. I know this to be true and He has strengthened me greatly. I pray that we all be able to feel the endless love of Our Heavenly Father and that we will strive in our endeavors.
